A selection of reef creatures from Mo’orea, French Polynesia revealed through inventorying one cubic foot from a reef off the coast of the Pacific island. The exhibit Life in One Cubic Foot at the National Museum of Natural History follows the research of Smithsonian scientists and photographer David Liittschwager as they document and discover what a cubic foot of land or water – a biocube – reveals about the amazing diversity on our planet.
