Images of Africa taken from space by a range of orbiting satellites show the land from diverse perspectives—some realistic and others more abstract. The images are complemented by a new artwork by South African artist Jeremy Wafer, who draws inspiration from views of the planet. His work explores the human connection to the Earth and how we live on and use the land.
Presented in conjunction with Earth Matters: Earth as Material and Metaphor at the National Museum of African Art.
