Most of the approximately 68 works, dating from 1917 to the early 1940s, are from NMAA's Alice Corbin-Henderson Collection. Mrs. Henderson, a poet and the wife of artist William Penhallow Henderson, was a leading patron of Indian artists while she lived in New Mexico in the 1920s.
