In the late 20th century, some artists and others in the art world began using film and video to document their lives and work. As a result, the Archives began collecting audio-visual material in addition to such traditional archival documents as letters, diaries, and photographs. This exhibition features video highlights from the Archives' collections, including clips showing artist Louis Bunce painting to the beat of jazz music, conceptual artist Chris Burden telling an unusual story, and sculptor Richard Serra storming out of a public hearing.
