This case features objects, tools, and artist's models used by Jose de Rivera to create Infinity, the first work of modern art commissioned by the U. S. government under the Art and Architecture Program for the National Mall. This case commemorates the 30th anniversary of the full-scale Infinity sculpture on the National Mall, at the Madison Drive entrance to the museum.
