Divided into several sections, his photographs chart a fascinating course mapping the worlds of politics and culture, sports and celebrity.
Sections include The British in America with the Beatles, Germaine Greer, and Francis Bacon; America in Crisis with Martin Luther King, the Robert Kennedy assassination, Carl Bernstein, and Bob Woodward; The Stars Come Out with Barbra Streisand, Johnny Carson, and Greta Garbo; The Mirror Cracked with Johnny Cochran, Michael Jackson, and Mike Tyson; and Twenty-first Century with Rudy Giuliani, General Schwarzkopf, and George W. Bush.
Organized by the Scottish National Portrait Gallery.
