On view are 2 showcases containing 56 space and aviation–related toys, including 15 Barbie dolls and 19 other Mattel personalities, tracing the history of Barbie from American Airlines stewardess in 1961 to astronaut in 1994. Also included are 1993 Barbie and Ken dolls dressed as members of the 101st Airborne Division Operation Desert Storm and the 1994 Air Force Thunderbirds.
