A full-scale exhibition of avant-garde European art of this decade, this show is comprised of about 60 works (several of which form components of individual pieces) executed by 23 artists from 7 European countries.

Included are:

  • Expansion, a 50-part graphite drawing by the German artist, Klaus Rinke
  • A one-person airplane (that cannot fly) by Belgian artist, Panamerenko
  • Igloo, a construction in glass, neon and steel by Italian artist, Mario Marz

Created especially for HMSG Fountain Plaza:

  • Striped banners by French artist, Daniel Buren
