This provocative traveling exhibition is a collaboration between filmmaking, photography, and science to challenge the public perception of what a scientist looks like. Through a series of portraits taken by photographer Kelsey Vance and an accompanying documentary film, the project brings into being the missing legacy of female paleontologists to overcome societal stereotypes concerning gender and professional roles. The photographs showcase female paleontologists conducting their research in the field, laboratories, offices, and museums.
