- Description
- A silver gelatin print depicting a black-and-white image of two men and a woman taken at the Ubangi Club. The souvenir photograph is framed in a green decorative folder (2013.46.25.67.2). The photograph depicts a woman seated between two (2) men. The man on the left is wearing a dark, pinstriped suit, white collared shirt, and a medium toned tie. The woman is wearing a fur stole and hat. She has her hands folded over a dark leather purse resting in her lap. The man on the right is wearing an army uniform with a staff sergeant patch on his proper left arm. A bar is behind them and there are bottles lining the shelves. Above the bar is a partially obstructed, painted mural that depicts a stylized woman, palm tree fronds, and a decorated paddle. An inscription in black ink along the top edge of the photograph reads, [I am happy because / of you / To Laurie R[---?]ie]. There are no inscriptions on the back of the photograph.
