- Description
- This medium sized orchid has drooping, pencil thin foliage and a drooping flower. The spidery, white to slightly red flower is unique among Brassavolas for having a frilly lip. Despite this, this orchid is the type species for the genus.

- Arching to horizontal inflorescence is 8" (20 cm) long with a single pale flower. Flower is 6.25-8" (16-20 cm) across. Flowers that bloom later in the season and go through a cold snap, will have a slight reddish color.
