- Description
- This Prominent Americans Issue stamp depicts Frank Lloyd Wright, an American architect and interior designer. Wright designed “organic architecture,” or structures that were in harmony with its environment. One of his most well-known works is Fallingwater, built in the Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania over a waterfall. The stamp also features an image of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York City, one of Wright’s other well-known works.
