- Square sampler of natural-colored linen embroidered with blue, green, yellow, red, and white silks. Within a strawberry vine border, an inscription, Louisa Nenninger Baltimore cess Juin 1823, is followed by rows of alphabets, trees, houses and windmills, a large house with a fence, and two texts in French:

- Deja de nos beaux jours on voit briller l'aurore (Already we see the dawn of our beautiful days)
