- Description
- Silversmith’s shape: oblong with four bowed panels alternating with four rectangular panels containing niches; long ogee spout, rectangular flat handle. Oblong domed cover with strap handle, sliding in grooves in top of pot. Relief decoration in polychrome showing classical figures in the bow panels; vines in niches; lotus and anthemion band about cavetto shoulder, leaves on handle, spout and cover.
