- We're turning the volume up to 11 with our Smithsonian solstice celebration! To mark the start of summer, animal keepers presented our prairie dog parents and pups with an enrichment model of Stonehenge. (Note: Figure is *not* to scale.) 🌞 Tomorrow, June 23, the Smithsonian will mark the first Saturday of summer by staying open late and hosting parties, programs and performances.
