The song was originally published by the Oliver Ditson Company of New York, New York in 1903, and appeared as a supplement to the “New York Herald” on February 15, 1903. The sheet music features a cover illustration of dancing couple in a kiss. Sheet music was so popular in the early 20th century that newspapers would insert them into their Sunday editions to boost sales.
