- Summary
- This is an assembled flying rocket model built by Arde, Inc. in the former Yugoslovia. The model has a pasteboard body, balsa fins and nose, and a plastic parachute. A solid propellant rocket motor propels the model, and then at the end of the vertical flight it forces the release of the parachute. The model is then retrieved and can be used again.
- G. Harry Stine, an American pioneer in the field of flying rocket models, donated this model to the Museum in 1973.
