Novelty, John Kerry, 2004

- Kerry, John F.
- Edwards, John
- Description
- The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers endorsed Democratic candidate John Kerry in 2004 in part because of Kerry’s “long record as a military man” (he served as a Navy Lieutenant during the Vietnam War). This may have influenced their decision to show their support in the form of a dog tag. Kerry and his running mate John Edwards lost the election to the Republican ticket President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney.
