- Description
- Wrought-iron screen depicting a muse with violin; the gold-plated figure at center stands on rolling hills of openwork decoration (foliate and scalloped) while concentric rings and rectilinear shapes hem the scene in. The two side panels consist of angular, stepped ornament with curving lines and stylized boughs, and the entire piece rests on four rectangular feet.
