- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of mountains in the Bavarian alps in Germany. A rolling, wooded hill stretches across the foreground in front of two tall and rugged mountains in the middle distance at left and right. The converging slopes of these mountains forms a "V" that frames a rocky, snow-capped peak in the distance--possibly Untersberg--which is bathed in the rosy orange light of the rising or setting sun. Above, cream colored clouds stretch across an otherwise blue sky.
