- Landscape study showing view of mountain valley bounded by two rough ridges at sunset. Stream and bank in foreground extend into green, wooded valley. Mountains on either side are rugged and, at right, crowned with rocky cliffs. Clouds above are illuminated pink and magenta by the light of the setting sun, which also falls on the mountaintop at right.
