Transcript: Dear Patti- Thanks for the great card from Hawaii- I'm sure you had the time of your life. - Today is a weird day- The girls up stairs got ripped off - took their camera - drills - saws and their small sellable stuff - how creepy, I hope we don't get it. -Shoot! There is really nothing one can do. - just keep the windows locked and hope for the best. - I heard the noise upstairs but thought it was Jim Crumerdre. He's weird and comes at weird times. Anyway tonight Jem Kwog is having a party (in our old apt. across the street). I'll tell you about it later o.k. - yesterday I finished building my clay pieces over at N.Y.U. - Now for the firing, glazing, ect. They will be done in time for Halloween - (Jack-o-lanterns.) I'm interested in holidays and their popular symbols - I'm thinking of my Thanksgiving pieces- I'm pretty thankful for all the good things I have - gotta give thanks. (turkey?) ha ha. Good ideas from all the visuals in Hawaii? Remember my 5th grade teacher sent me those 2 boxes of anthuriums, from Hawaii when I graduated from U.W.? - - Those flowers are so amazingly beautiful - Jun Kaneko will be at Cranbrook soon- I am going to tell him to get you for a lecture then you can come to N.Y. to visit. Bye, for now, Michael
