- On 12 Dec 2016, Ingrid Rochon was able to locate the mounted skin of this specimen and re-associate it with its USNM number. The skin had been taken off exhibit, been disassociated from its USNM number, assigned a taxidermy inventory number (#24), and ended up in Esther Langan and Nicole Edmison's office. Ingrid wrote the USNM number on the tag and attached photos of the bat to this catalog record. As of 12 Dec 2016 the mounted skin remains in Esther Langan and Nicole Edmison's office.
