- Description
- Ginger-colored earthenware. Globular body with short wide lip, painted with underglaze slips. Asymmetrically grouped black spiders and bats against cloudlike swirls of brown, ocher, blue-gray, cream and turquoise. Small hole drilled in bottom, stoppered with cork. Exterior, interior, and bottom: glazed; clear with fine crazing. Exterior: overglaze; gilt accents.
