- This device, manufactured at the Advanced Technology Laboratories, assisted astronauts Neil Armstrong and Dave Scott with the guidance and control of their Gemini 8 spacecraft, flown on March 16, 1966. This electronics package worked with the horizon sensor, mounted outside the craft, to locate the Gemini capsule with respect to the Earth's horizon.
