- Description
- Landscape study showing an elevated view of the Bavarian Alps, with the Hoher Göll
- and Schönfeldspitze visible in the background. A green, grassy hilltop gently arches across the foreground, as two small figures sit on the slope at left. In the middle distance, overlapping, wooded mountain ridges extend into to the horizon. Due to aerial perspective, each succeeding ridge is hazier than the last. In the distance at center, the snow-capped Hoher Göll is shown with the sharp, pyramidal peak of Schönfeldspitze beside it to the right.
