- This paper model of a rhombic dodecahedron has a cube at the core and six hinged square pyramids arranged with one pyramid on each face of the cube, The hinged pieces may be rearranged to form a second, congruent cube. Each cube has an arrangement of dots, so that the two together resemble a pair of dice.
- Compare MA*304723.301 (smaller paper model) and MA*304723.311 and MA*304723.373 (two models together plastic version of model).
- There is a drawing in 1979.3002.40 dated March 1, 1939 for "Pair-a-Dice" New Standard Size = Allow for thickness of Pyralin. Model made April 9, 1932 - pieces attached.
