- Fabrics of the Future Exhibit installed in a display window at the Woodward & Lothrop Department Store, G and 12th Streets, N.W., Washington, D.C. A group of women and a man are looking at the display which includes a mannequin dressed with hat, jacket and skirt. Placards have been placed to identify objects in the exhibit. The exhibit featured such synthetic fabrics as nylon and rayon.
