- Drum, drumsticks, and length of black crepe ribbon from Lincoln's funeral. The drum belonged to Maurice A. Graves, who served in Company I, Eighty-first New York Volunteers and later transferred to Company I, Veteran Reserve Corps stationed in Washington D.C. On the night of Lincoln’s assassination Graves, with this drum, first sounded the call to arms. He latter participated in the funeral events held in the capital.
