- This is a trading card from the television show "Battlestar Galactica" that ran for one season on ABC from 1978 to 1979. Despite its very short run, the show made a mark, continuing as "Galactica 1980" in 1980 and in a rebooted miniseries (2003) and a television series also called "Battlestar Galactica" on Sci-Fi from 2004 through 2009.
- The fan following for "Battlestar Galactica" inspired merchandise including comics and games, trading cards, figurines, and other items.
- The card, that depicts two Cylon soldiers, was donated to the Smithsonian Institution in 2005 by Gregory K. H. Bryant.
