- Glass bottle with paper label that reads “CALDER’S / DENTINE / FOR CLEANSING, PRESERVING / AND BEAUTIFYING THE TEETH / Prepared by / ALBERT L. CALDER CO., Inc. / Providence, R.I., U.S.A. / Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.” Calder’s Dentine was introduced in 1867 by Albert L. Calder (1825-1899), a pharmacist in Providence.
