- Description
- The majority of the picture is dominated by a tall, wide New York City skyscraper that appears to be an office building. The architecture is characterized by a setback or ziggurat approach, with a step-like recession in the profile of the building and a reduction in the building’s area as it reaches upwards. Other large buildings can be seen on the left and right. Light shines down on the building from above, and a light area in front of the building on the street level contrasts with the surrounding shadows. A few small figures and cars appear in front of the building.
