- Description
- Landscape sketch showing a view of a richly-saturated maple tree in fall colors somewhere in the mountainous forests of Vermont. Situated at center right, the tree has dark brown bark and vibrant red-orange leaves as it leans slightly to the left--possibly windblown by the rain storm that appears to be approaching in the background. This tree is surrounded by abundant green vegetation while a hill forms a gently rolling horizon beyond. The sky above is filled with dark grey clouds, suggesting a coming storm.
