- This is Alice Kono's souvenir pillowcase that came from Camp Shelby, which is a military post in Mississippi.
- These sentimental pillowcases and covers were sent to family, friends, and loved ones from soldiers stationed at military posts. Most of them were trimmed in fringe and made out of silk, and some had personalized messages to their loved ones stitched on them.
