- Physical Description
- Watercolor painting of the balloon that ascended from the Artillery Ground on November 25, 1783, and was found later that day near Pentworth, Sussex. Image shows the balloon aloft as people in the village below look up at it in awe. Part of a set of 17 watercolors on early ballooning.
- Zambeccari's 10 foot diameter gas balloon flew from the Artillery Ground on November 25, 1783. Given the apparent size of the balloon in the image and the presence of what appears to be a basket, however, this must depict another, later flight.
