- Description
- A large, rectangular New York City skyscraper that appears to be an office building stretches upwards and dominates the left portion of the picture. The building was designed by York & Sawyer Architects, and the architecture is characterized by a setback or ziggurat approach, with a step-like effect at the top portion of the building and a reduction in area as the building reaches upwards. A slightly shorter building appears on the left, and other buildings are seen in the background, including Grand Central Terminal. A light area appears directly in front of the building on the street level and is surrounded by a darker, shaded area. Small figures and cars are dispersed in front of the building.
