Family Performance Workshop Catch the Beat with Luis Garay
Discovery Theater Performance
(for ages 4-10) With the help of the children in the audience, Luis Garay creates the rhythms of Puerto Rico in this show that is both a workshop and a performance. Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month.

Film Lecture Artist Talk with Penelope Siopis
Lecture, with video screening
Contemporary South African artist Siopis discusses her influential career, from her baroque, anti-apartheid history paintings of the 1980s to her installations and prints that examine race and gender in a changing South Africa. Siopis also screens her recent video work.
