On view are over 200 jades, painting, lacquerware, and furniture from the Sackler gift. Included are Chinese paintings in three formats--hanging scrolls, handscrolls and album leaves, dating from the 14th through the 20th centuries; and 16 articles of Chinese furniture from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties, among them a huali-wood chair and a spectacular lacquer cupboard decorated with painted gold dragons.
