The history of the space shuttle program's 24 missions is told through photographs and models. More than 30 photographs show the shuttle during take-off, landing, and in flight, while a selection of hand tools shows how the astronauts worked in outer space. The exhibition also explores the Challenger accident and its consequences, plus the latest in space station concepts. Interactive video displays show space shuttle operations. A film, narrated by astronaut David Walker, depicts in-flight operations.
